The colors reminded me of the all American cereal that children and adults *ahem* can’t get enough of… it also kinda smelled like a bowl of said cereal while I was dyeing it, so there’s that as well :)
The yarn is super squishy and has a lovely sheen to it; the silk takes up the color differently than the merino, so it has a nice tweed-like effect. Trust me, the pictures do it no justice.
This is a limited release yarn. I can re-create the colorway, but the yarn base has been discontinued, sadly.

Yardage: 410 yards (375 meters) Weight: 100 grams (3.53 ounces) Fiber content: 63% Superwash Merino, 18.5% Tussah Silk, 18.5% Merino Gauge: 28.0 sts = 4 inches Suggested needle size: US 1 - 3 or 2.25 - 3.25mm
Dyed by yours truly with Kool AId and food coloring. Care: This yarn can be machine washed and dried, but for best results hand wash and dry flat.

I have wanted to lock my hair for a loooooong time, and everyone always said NO!
So I finally said, fuck them… imma do it.
SO I did.
And I love it.
Next on my list: touch up the new growth with bleach and dye it some unnatural color :D
